The purpose of a bridge navigational watch alarm system ( HABJ0001 BNWAS ) is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability which could lead to marine accidents. The system monitors the awareness of the Officer of the Watch ( 00W) and automatically alerts the Master or another qualified 00W if for any reason the 00W becomes incapable of performing the 00W' s duties. This purpose is achieved by a series of indications and alarms to alert first the 00W and, if he is not responding, then to alert the Master or another qualified 00W. Additionally, the BNWAS may provide the 00W with a means of calling for immediate assistance if required. The BNWAS should be operational whenever the ship's heading or track control system is engaged, unless inhibited by the Master.

 

This system meets the requirements of MSC. 128 (75),IEC62616(2010) and can be used in any kind of ship

 

The SOLAS amendment V/19 requires all kinds of ships to be equipped the BNWAS ,the implementation deadlines are as follows:

 

1).1July 2011 for all new builds of 150gt or over-(keel lay base)

2).Ships constructed prior to 1 July 2011will have to fit the BNWAS by the 1^st survey after:

    ① 1July 2012 for cargo ships of 3000gt or over and all passenger ships

    ② 1July 2013 for cargo ships of 500gt or over but less than 3000gt

③ 1July 2014 for cargo ships of between 150gt or over but less than 500gt

Our company’s  R &D center staff and has successfully developed and promoted the  HABJOOO1BNWAS system which satisfied various rules on duty with the bridge navigational watch alarm system demands after a detailed system analysis and design development, abide by CCS ISO9001 product development process. We’ve applied for the  CCS authentication, and double with BV classification. System has been successfully passed China Classification Society (CCS) examine authentication of graph judge figure center and  Bureau Veritas (BV) classification production inspection audit, each work goes well, and remaining authentication process carry out compactly.
